My name is Hannah. Beginning as a freelance makeup artist in 2010, I’m experienced in film, television, commercial, headshot, editorial, and special event makeup.
My love for makeup is motivated by my love for people — individuals, communities, stories — the things we have to say and the beauty we have to share.
I started my career at a MAC cosmetics counter, where I had the opportunity to meet and connect with people of all ages, races, and genders. There, I learned to work with different skin tones, eye shapes, formulas and techniques, but what I valued most from those years was learning how to connect the person to the makeup. I discovered that the best confidence comes from being seen and valued for who we are. I learned the difference between makeup we hide behind, and makeup that shows our most authentic selves.
Today, I bring my years of experience to each set with its unique needs, whether it’s quickly but expertly minimizing visual distraction so the message is the focus, or supporting a story with makeup from the every day to the extraordinary. I love my job, and I’d love to work with you.
